We are seeking a Science & Design Technology Technician to join secondary schools across South London. This exciting and varied role offers the opportunity to work alongside teachers and students, ensuring the smooth running of practical lessons and the safe operation of specialist equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teaching staff and students during practical sessions across a range of design technology disciplines including woodwork, metalwork, plastics, textiles, and food technology Demonstrate techniques and provide practical support and guidance during lessons Ensure the safe and effective operation of tools, machinery, and equipment, conducting regular maintenance and safety checks Manage stock and materials, monitor inventory, and place orders when required Maintain a tidy, well-organised workshop environment that supports efficient teaching and learning Support the creation of teaching aids, classroom displays, and project materials Assist with the set-up and dismantling of exhibitions and student projects Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all practices meet current regulationsWhat We're Looking For:
