Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer
We are currently looking for Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join M Group Energy, our client is enabling the energy essential to support everyday life. They deliver end to end solutions across electricity transmission and distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role sits within their Metering team, they are one of the leading providers of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, delivering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.

Salary

• Dual Fuel: £39,033
• Dual Fuel with Three Phase or CT: £40,117
• Dual Fuel inside the M25: £42,285
• Dual Fuel with Three Phase or CT inside the M25: £43,370
• £1,000 salary uplift for Three Phase or CT and or Medium Pressure qualification
• £2,000 annual attendance and safety bonus
• On target earnings up to £50,000 plus
• Uncapped productivity related bonus
• Overtime paid at time and a half and double time on Sundays
• Standby and call out payments

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, you will:

• Install smart gas and electricity meters
• Investigate and resolve non communicating smart meters
• Attend emergency and maintenance appointments
• Restore gas or power safely when customers need it most
• Provide clear explanations to customers on safe usage and benefits of their new meter

You will work independently, meet new customers every day and deliver exceptional customer service.
Health and safety will be at the heart of everything you do. You will receive full onboarding and ongoing training to ensure your knowledge remains up to date and industry leading.
You will never feel on your own. Weekly meetings, regular catch ups and strong field management support ensure you always have guidance when needed.

What will you bring?
Essential:

• Valid UK driving licence
• You must have held your licence for 1 year and have less than 6 points.
• Do you have a CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3, or hold an NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel? Are you experienced installing gas and electric smart meters?
• Have you got previous MOCOPA experience?

Desirable but not essential:

• MOCOPA authorisation
• REGT1
• 3 phase
• CT metering
