The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service dedicated to the nuclear industry. Our vision is to provide a world-class service for the protection of nuclear material and facilities. We are recruiting a skilled and committed Duty Planner to organise our schedules.
As a Duty Planner, you will coordinate staff and officer working hours using the complex Duty Management System, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry rules. Your role involves publishing shift plans in advance to ensure the right number of skilled personnel are on duty at the right times.
You will work independently in a busy environment, requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong IT and communication skills. The ability to prioritize, handle sensitive information discreetly, and remain calm under pressure is essential.
