Job Title: Duty Shift Manager Location: King’s Cross, London Start Date: June 2026 Contract Type: Short-Term Contract (Minimum 3 Months)

Pay Rate: £30.00 per hour + £3.62 holiday pay (PAYE)

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and highly capable Duty Shift Manager to oversee site operations at a busy location in King’s Cross. This is a short-term contract suited to a confident leader with strong operational and health & safety knowledge, available to start in June.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing and overseeing all on-site teams during shifts

* Acting as the senior point of contact for client, contractors, and stakeholders

* Ensuring full compliance with site procedures, health & safety regulations, and company policies

* Supervising shift operations, staffing levels, and rota management

* Overseeing incident management, reporting, and escalation processes

* Conducting site inspections and maintaining high standards at all times

* Leading briefings, toolbox talks, and team coordination

Requirements:

* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification (essential)

* Proven experience in a Duty Manager / Shift Manager or similar leadership role

* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively
