Hi
We're working with a UK university looking for an experienced EAP specialist to lead a targeted project on mapping international qualifications - with a particular focus on South Asia - to UK English language entry standards.
This is a great opportunity for someone who understands EAP, CEFR levels, and international education systems, and who enjoys turning complex qualification data into clear, usable admissions guidance.
You will:
- Map non-UK (especially South Asian) qualifications to CEFR/IELTS/UK university entry levels
- Analyse how English proficiency is demonstrated in overseas school and university qualifications
- Work with admissions and academic teams to recommend country-specific entry guidance
- Review and document English language evidence, including MOI and national qualifications
- Produce a clear framework for English language requirements across key countries
- Advise on applying UKVI, UK ENIC and university-specific policies to non-UK applicants
- Support internal training and documentation related to international English language admissions
What we're looking for:
- Strong EAP experience (CELTA, DELTA, MA TESOL, or equivalent)
- Experience teaching or assessing non-native speakers for academic entry
- Familiarity with CEFR, IELTS, TOEFL, PTE and global equivalents
- Understanding of South Asian education systems (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, etc.)
- Excellent research and communication skills
- Confidence working with qualification data and entry criteria
- Experience with UKVI English language requirements and higher education admissions
Bonus points for:
- Knowledge of UK ENIC and experience applying international qualification guidance
- Background in international student recruitment or compliance
- Experience creating admissions tools, matrices, or policy documents
- Location:
- London, England, United Kingdom
- Salary:
- £125,000 - £150,000
