Salary: £37,868 – £39,851 per year
Salary will be determined in line with the Outer London Main Pay Scale and aligned to the Early Career Teacher (ECT) pay range (M1–M2). The role is suitable for ECTs, with salary awarded at M1.

What You’ll Do
• Teach stimulating and well-structured Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available).
• Plan lessons that promote enquiry, critical thinking, fieldwork skills and real-world application.
• Support students preparing for GCSE Geography, bringing contemporary issues such as sustainability, climate change, urbanisation and global development to life.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and ensure all learners are challenged and supported.
• Contribute to department meetings, curriculum planning and pupil enrichment activities, including trips or themed events where appropriate.

Requirements
To be eligible for this role and the stated salary, applicants must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Geography specialism
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach KS3 and KS4
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A genuine passion for inspiring curiosity about the world and global issues
• The ability to commit to a permanent role starting 03/09/2026
