Salary: £37,868 – £39,851 per year
Salary will be determined in line with the Outer London Main Pay Scale and aligned to the Early Career Teacher (ECT) pay range (M1–M2). The role is suitable for ECTs, with salary awarded at M1.

We are recruiting on behalf of a high-performing, Ofsted-rated Outstanding all-through school in Redbridge, with a full inspection in November 2023 confirming it remains at the highest grade. The school includes primary, secondary and sixth form provision and is known for its high expectations, strong leadership and exceptional academic outcomes.

What You’ll Do
• Teach engaging and interactive French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available).
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations, using creative and structured approaches to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
• Foster a genuine love of languages and promote cultural curiosity and global awareness.
• Use assessment effectively to track progress and support all learners, including those needing stretch and challenge.
• Work collaboratively within the MFL team to share best practice and contribute to curriculum development.
• Take an active role in the wider school community, supporting enrichment activities and language-focused events where appropriate.

Requirements
To be eligible for this role and the stated rate of pay, applicants must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
• The ability to teach both French and Spanish confidently
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning
• A proactive, reflective approach to teaching and professional development
• The ability to commit to a permanent position starting 03/09/2026
