Checkout.com is looking for an ambitious Finance Analyst Apprentice to join our Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in Fintech while gaining a world‑class professional qualification. You will report directly to the Regional Finance Director and work within a global team that is building a best‑in‑class financial environment. As an apprentice, you will spend 20% of your time dedicated to your ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) studies, with the remaining 80% spent gaining hands‑on experience in our fast‑paced EU Finance department. How You’ll Make An Impact
Month‑End Support: Assist with monthly postings in our accounting system, learning the heartbeat of a global business's financial cycle. Financial Accuracy: Help perform reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and assist in variance analysis to ensure our numbers are precise. Spend Management: Review supplier invoices to ensure correct account coding and cost centre allocation, gaining insight into how a global company manages its expenses. Process Evolution: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our month‑end processes as we scale our operations across Europe. Cross‑Team Collaboration: Act as a point of support for our Accounts Payable and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) teams, helping resolve queries and share data.
Eligibility Requirements This is an entry level role. You must qualify for Level 7 Apprenticeship funding at the date this role is due to commence in Oct 2026. Further information about the Apprenticeship funding can be found here.
Academic Qualifications
You will have either: A degree qualification
OR
You have completed a Level 4 AAT qualification before the September start date + 2 A Levels (or equivalent) and 3 GCSEs including a pass in English and Maths

What We’re Looking For
Academic Ambition: You are eager to begin your journey toward becoming a Chartered Accountant via the ACCA pathway. Analytical Mindset: You have a natural comfort with numbers and a high attention to detail. Resilience: The ability to work toward tight deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑growth work environment. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Any prior exposure to accounting systems (like Workday) is a huge plus, but not a dealbreaker – we will train you! Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a "team player" attitude.
