We are excited to be partnering with a friendly Children's Centre within a primary school in Islington, looking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Educator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and deliver high-quality early education within a nurturing and inclusive setting.

The centre is committed to providing a safe, stimulating environment where children's wellbeing and development come first. Staff are encouraged to bring creativity and energy into their practice, supporting children through engaging, play-based learning experiences.

Role Overview

Position: Early Years Educator Start Date: ASAP Location: Islington, North London Pay: £16.42 - £17.05 per hour (PAYE) Hours: 08:30am - 4:30pm Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support children's learning and development during their early years, including:

Planning and delivering creative, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS Supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental needs through play Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Observing and assessing progress to inform next steps Promoting positive behaviour and supporting overall wellbeing Working closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of practice Building strong relationships with parents and carers Following safeguarding procedures at all timesThe Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Have a solid understanding of the EYFS framework Hold a valid Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate (essential) Be nurturing, proactive, and passionate about early years education Work well within a team and contribute positively to the setting Be confident supporting children through play-based learningInterested in this opportunity?
