Early Years Educator - Merton

• Nursery Schools & Early Years Settings
• Full-time Term-time options available
• Various locations across Merton and surrounding areas
• Start dates available immediately and throughout the year

We are currently recruiting Early Years Educators (Level 2 or Level 3) for a number of nursery schools and Early Years settings across Merton and nearby boroughs. Due to increasing demand, there are several opportunities available for passionate and dedicated Early Years professionals looking to work in supportive and nurturing environments

The Role

As an Early Years Educator, you will work with children aged 2–4 years, supporting their learning and development within a stimulating EYFS environment. You will work alongside experienced teachers and Early Years practitioners to create engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child’s development.

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Acting as a key worker for a small group of children
• Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning activities
• Completing observations and assessments using online systems
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers
• Supporting children with additional needs and working with other professionals
• Contributing to a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• To be considered, you should:
• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification suitable for EYFS ratios
• Have previous experience working in Early Years settings
• Be enthusiastic, proactive and a strong team player
• Demonstrate a reliable, caring and committed approach to supporting young children
