Early Years Teacher

Location: Wakefield

Contract: Temporary (Supply through Academics)

Salary: £160 - £225 per day

Start Date: January 2026

The Role

We are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school setting to recruit a dedicated Early Years Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional to support children's early development in a nurturing and engaging environment.

As an Early Years Teacher you will be responsible for delivering high - quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework, creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning space where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Plan and deliver creative, play - based learning activities in line with EYFS

✔️ Support children's social, emotional and academic development

✔️ Carry out observations, assessments and record progress

✔️ Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

✔️ Follow safeguarding and setting plicies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

Hold EYTS or QTS with EYFS experience Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum Is enthusiastic , patient and child - centred Can work effectively as part of a team Strong communication and organisational skillsRequirements for an Early Years Teacher
