Your new company
Desian Education are proud to be supporting an extremely supportive and inclusive nursery and forest school in Warrington that has amazing transport links as they require an experienced and qualified teaching assistant for a long-term temporary contract. This is a full-time position that will last until at least the end of the academic year.
Your new role
As a teaching assistant within this primary and nursery school you will be joining an extremely experienced and collaborative EYFS team. You will support across the nursery, building strong constructive relationships with all pupils and supporting teachers to promote the development of all pupils. There is a large percentage of SEN within this nursery school so you will be required to support young learners with ASD and mobility needs. Other core duties will include:
Forest and OPAL learning
Supporting fine motor, social and emotional development
Guided reading and writing
Learning through play
Supporting during break and lunch times
What you need to succeed
Full “Right to Work” in the UK
Be at least NVQ Level 2 Children’s Care, Learning and Development or equivalent qualified
Referenceable experience supporting children between the ages of 0 – 5
Experience working with SEN is advantageous (ASD is preferred) xehkeey
Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Children’s DBS check
