An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and skilled EYFS Practitioner to join a vibrant and dedicated Early Years team at a well-regarded nursery and primary school in Walsall. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring that they build the foundation for lifelong learning.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, supporting children in their development, and ensuring they receive the care and attention needed to reach their full potential in their early years of education. The role will involve both classroom support and providing one-to-one interventions, helping to create a safe and engaging environment for young learners.
Expectations of the Successful Candidate:
Previous experience working in an Early Years setting (e.g., nursery, reception, preschool).
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging activities that support children's development in all areas of learning.
Excellent communication skills with children, staff, and parents.
Ability to provide both individual and group support for children's academic, social, and emotional development.
Experience with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy development is desirable.
A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children in their learning and development.
The ability to work well as part of a team to provide a high standard of care and education.
What is Required:
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 3 in Childcare, EYFS, or Teaching Assistant qualification).
Previous experience in an EYFS setting.
A DBS on the Update Service is required
Strong organizational and communication skills.
