Applicants must be readily available for after the Easter holidays. The role is full time. The successful applicant will have previous experience in a nursery/early years or lower KS1 environments. You must hold a level 3 qualification.

The successful Early Years Assistant will:

• Have previous experience working with EYFS children
• Require a Level 3 qualification
• Be required to work as a team member
• Have a passion for developing children ready for their school journey
• Need to have a friendly persona
• Have experience of phonics support
• Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Require a strong understanding and knowledge of safeguarding
• Be comfortable in providing additional support to children on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Display the skills to be an excellent role model
