Job Title: EC&I Design Engineer
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset - 1 day a week on site
Role Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience
Our client, an EC&I engineering services firm in Bridgwater, require an experienced EC&I Design Engineer to join their established team.
Candidates would need to have lived & worked in the UK for 5+ years and be eligible for BPSS security clearance.
The EC&I Design Engineer is a core member of the team, responsible for delivering high-quality electrical and control design outputs across a range of regulated engineering projects. The role focuses on the production of robust, well-engineered design deliverables that meet project, safety, and regulatory requirements.
What the role of the EC&I Design Engineer entails:
Some of the main duties of the EC&I Design Engineer will include:
Design Delivery
Develop electrical and control designs including schematics, layout drawings, schedules, and associated design documentation under the direction of Senior and Lead Engineers. Produce high-quality EC&I design deliverables in line with project requirements, applicable standards and procedures.
