A leading international law firm with a reputation for delivering innovative, practical solutions to complex legal challenges. The London office is a key hub for the corporate finance and capital markets team, working closely with colleagues across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.


The Corporate Finance & ECM practice provides strategic advice on all aspects of public and private M&A, equity issues, IPOs, and related regulatory frameworks. The team helps clients navigate complex transactions, mitigate risk, and seize opportunities in a dynamic market environment.


Team Overview

Led by a highly experienced partner with over 25 years in the field, the team advises a wide range of clients—from blue-chip corporates to technology start-ups and high-profile entrepreneurs—on their corporate and transactional requirements. Work includes public takeovers, equity issues and IPOs, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, reorganisations, and shareholder activism.


The team also works as part of an integrated international capital markets group advising on European and global securities offerings, including IPOs, secondary issues, public M&A, tender offers, bond offerings, and restructurings. Clients include listed companies, sponsors, brokers, and investment banks.


The Role

This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of high-profile matters. The successful candidate will:

  • Advise on corporate finance and ECM transactions, including IPOs, secondary offerings, and public M&A
  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents and liaise with regulators and market participants
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional matters and coordinate with international offices
  • Engage directly with clients and contribute to thought leadership and business development initiatives
  • Support junior team members and contribute to know-how and training within the practice


Candidate Profile

  • England & Wales qualified lawyer with 2–5 years’ PQE
  • Strong experience in corporate finance and ECM, ideally gained at a leading international or specialist firm
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and project management skills
  • Commercial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Interest in cross-border work and regulatory developments in capital markets
