Job Description

About us

Nobody’s Child is for the free thinkers, the dreamers, and the go-getters. Born in 2015, we’ve spent the last decade creating clothes that feel as good as they look for people that embrace individuality, live with purpose, and want to leave the world a little better than they found it. It’s been 10 years of creativity, growth, and bold ideas, and the values that guide us haven’t changed.

About you

We’re looking for an Ecommerce Assistant who is highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. You have a strong interest in ecommerce and fashion, alongside a proactive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for being part of a growing digital team.

You’re a reliable and collaborative team player, confident in communicating with different teams and working cross-functionally to support smooth product go-live processes and ongoing optimisation of online trading performance. Above all, you’re eager to learn, take ownership, and continue developing your skills within a dynamic and fast-moving ecommerce environment.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

Product Setup & Go-Live Support

  • Support the end-to-end product setup and go-live process, ensuring all products are uploaded accurately and on time.
  • Assist in preparing products for launch, including uploading imagery, product information, categorisation and metadata.
  • Work closely with Buying and Merchandising to support weekly intake and ensure products are ready for site launch.
  • Carry out regular QA checks to ensure product information, imagery and pricing are correct and consistent across the site.

Trading & Merchandising Support

  • Support the Ecommerce Trading team with day-to-day site updates and merchandising tasks.
  • Assist with product sequencing, category updates and landing page merchandising to support trading priorities.
  • Help execute seasonal campaigns, product launches and promotional activity across the site.
  • Monitor product performance and flag any issues or opportunities to the wider team.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Work collaboratively with Buying, Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure product launches and updates are delivered on time.
  • Support with updating landing pages and site content in line with trading and campaign requirements.
  • Assist with testing new site features and updates, helping to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Site Maintenance & Continuous Improvement

  • Carry out regular site checks to identify errors, missing information or inconsistencies.
  • Support with ongoing site updates and improvements to enhance the customer journey.
  • Keep up to date with competitor activity and ecommerce trends, sharing relevant insights with the team.
  • Actively contribute to our company’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility by integrating sustainable practices into everyday work. This includes minimising waste, promoting responsible sourcing, supporting our circular economy initiatives, and encouraging customers and colleagues to make choices that align with our sustainability values. Every team member at NC plays a role in helping us reduce our environmental impact and create a positive legacy for our communities and the planet.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous Ecommerce or retail experience (internship or entry-level role).
  • Experience using Shopify or similar Ecommerce platforms.
  • Basic understanding of Ecommerce metrics (e.g. conversion rate, AOV, product performance).

If this sounds like your next opportunity, please apply and we will be in touch!
