Early Career Teacher - English (KS3/4)

Empowering Learning are recruiting a motivated ECT English Teacher to cover lessons across KS3 and KS4 at a well-regarded secondary school in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher to gain classroom experience, develop professionally, and support student progression and engagement.

Responsibilities

* Deliver pre-planned English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Maintain classroom behaviour management and positive learning environment
* Support student progression, literacy, and engagement
* Work with the English department to follow curriculum expectations
* Provide feedback to pupils and assist with assessments

Requirements

* Qualified ECT (PGCE/QTS) in English or equivalent
* Strong understanding of KS3/KS4 English curriculum
* Confident classroom presence and behaviour management skills
* Enthusiasm for student learning and engagement
* Organised, reliable, and adaptable
