Empowering Learning are recruiting a motivated ECT Humanities Teacher to join a supportive and well-established secondary school in East London. This is a permanent role ideal for an Early Career Teacher looking to develop their career, gain structured support, and contribute to student progression, engagement, and curriculum development across KS3 and KS4.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging Humanities lessons (History, Geography, or Social Studies) across KS3 and KS4 * Plan lessons aligned with school curriculum and exam specifications * Support student attainment, progression, and behaviour management * Contribute to departmental planning, assessments, and development initiatives * Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive learning environment
Requirements
* Qualified ECT (PGCE/QTS) in Humanities or equivalent * Strong knowledge of KS3 and KS4 curriculum in History, Geography, or related subjects * Confident classroom presence with effective behaviour management * Passion for student learning and progression * Organised, reliable, and collaborative
