Job Title – Lead Finance Business Partner (Education Service)\nLocation – West London, Hybrid\nRate - £600 Per Day Umbrella\nContract – 3-month contract, potential for extension\n\nWe're looking for a proactive Finance Business Partner to join a well-established organization and play a key role in driving financial planning, analysis, and project oversight. You'll support managers, lead on capex and forecasting activity, and provide clear financial insight to improve performance and decision-making.\n\nRole Purpose\n\nAct as the go-to finance partner for managers across the organisation.\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.\nEnsure projects, spending, and financial decisions are controlled, accurate, and well-advised.Role Responsibilities\n\nLead budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing clear insight into performance.\nManage project accounting, ensuring spend is tracked, approved, and reported correctly.\nAnalyse financial data and create reports that support strategic decisions.\nOversee capital expenditure processes and guide managers on cost control.\nMonitor financial risks, variances, and opportunities, recommend actions.\nWork closely with non-finance teams to improve financial understanding and accountability.Essential Requirements\n\nStrong experience in management accounting, forecasting, or FP&A.\nConfident working with project costs, capex, and financial modelling.\nExcellent Excel and reporting skills.\nAble to explain finance clearly to non-finance stakeholders.\nIdeally studying toward or holding a recognised finance qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA).Why Choose Ackerman Pierce?\nAckerman Pierce calls upon over 15 years' worth of experience in recruiting directly into the Social Work Sector.
