SEND Support Worker - Primary Schools (Part-Time, Flexible Work)

Stafflex Education is currently recruiting SEND Support Workers to work across welcoming and supportive primary schools in Huddersfield and the wider Kirklees area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives while benefiting from flexible, part-time work.
About the Role * Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN within primary school settings * Work 1:1 or with small groups to support learning, development, and emotional wellbeing * Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment * Support pupils with additional needs, including communication, behavioural, and learning challenges * Assist the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support strategies * Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning
✅ What We're Looking For * Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school-based or similar) * A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach * Passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing * Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships * Ability to adapt to different school environments and pupil needs * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingn...
