EHS Advisor

Salary: circa £40,000

We have a very exciting opportunity to join a European tier 1 automotive supplier in a new role as they establish their UK operation, to support, implement and monitor EHS policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct risk assessments, develop prevention plans, and implement safety improvement measures across operations
Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Maintain a strong shopfloor presence to monitor EHS compliance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.
???????Investigate incidents and accidents, define corrective actions, and prevent recurrence
???????Deliver EHS training, raise awareness, manage onboarding, and act as the main point of contact for EHS matters

Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree with NEBOSH qualification or equivalent practical EHS experience
???????Previous experience as an EHS Advisor in a production/manufacturing environment (automotive experience is a plus)
Strong knowledge of occupational safety, environmental regulations, and risk prevention practices
Proactive, safety-first mindset with the ability to influence, advise, and lead by example
Well-organised communicator with strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Office
