Hours: M-F 8-4
12-month position
Salaried position with benefits
Salary range $50-60,000
Position beginning August 2025
Education
Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Health, Education or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor for ongoing service coordinators
Job Responsibilities
Provide services as an ongoing service coordinator (OSC) in Early Intervention, including:
Initial contact with families
Locating providers to service families
Participating in Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) meetings and transitioning to the Committee on Special Education (CPSE) meetings
Serve as liaison between families and the Nassau County Department of Health Early Intervention program
Provide onboarding and training for new OSCs
Provide ongoing support and supervision to OSCs
Read all OSC log notes
Candidate must possess:
Ability to be patient and empathetic with families
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, families and Nassau County Department of Health
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational skills
