Shopfloor Operative

Annual Salary: £14.68 Location: Manchester Job Type: Full-timeAs a Mechanical Fitter, you will be at the forefront of building high-quality centrifugal and positive displacement pumps and pumping systems, playing a crucial role in our global operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

Assemble centrifugal and positive displacement pumps and complete pumping systems based on technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Perform 3-phase motor wiring, including terminal configurations, cable routing, and secure electrical connections in accordance with safety standards. Carry out mechanical fitting, alignment, and coupling of motors and pump components. Inspect components for accuracy, wear, or damage prior to assembly. Complete all required documentation such as assembly checklists and inspection reports. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with health and safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve design or assembly issues. Support continuous improvement activities to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety on the shop floor.Required Skills & Qualifications:
