Electrical Authorised Person – Data Centre

The Role
HP4 Recruitment are working with a data centre project looking for an Electrical AP to be a key presence on site, supporting both construction and operations teams.
This isn’t a desk-only role — they need someone who can float around site, keep things organised, and make sure everything is being done safely and correctly.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Acting as Electrical AP across HV/LV systems
* Being out on site, coordinating between construction and ops
* Managing permits, isolations, and switching activities
* Producing and reviewing switching plans and paperwork
* Supporting commissioning and testing (IST)
* Making sure teams are working safely and following process
* Being the go-to person on site for anything electrical
What They’re Looking For
* Experience as an Electrical AP (or similar level)
* Good understanding of HV/LV systems and switching
* Experience in a data centre or critical environment
* Confident with permits, paperwork, and documentation
* Ideally some construction project experience
* Someone happy to be on-site, visible, and hands-on
