Electrical Catering Engineer
Location: Based in Essex – with travel across London and surrounding Essex areas
Job Type : Full-time, Permanent
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrical Catering Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance and repair of commercial catering equipment across a range of customer sites including restaurants, schools, care homes, pubs and commercial kitchens.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys varied work, problem-solving on-site, and delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Service, fault-find, repair and maintain commercial catering equipment Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns Diagnose electrical faults accurately and efficiently Install new catering equipment where required Complete job reports and paperwork accurately (digital or written) Ensure all work complies with current electrical and safety regulations Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach on-site Manage van stock and tools responsibly
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrical Catering Engineer Electrical qualifications relevant to commercial catering equipment Full UK driving licence Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and professional manner Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
