Location – We are seeking a candidate based in the Northwest who is willing to travel throughout the UK with some overnight stays.
About the Role
This position will be part of our Electrical Compliance team where you will be supporting our energised testing team. Your role will involve carrying out various electrical installations of low voltage wiring and containment systems. You will also be responsible for testing and inspecting these installations. You will have the opportunity to develop and advance within this team as we support courses to train you for Live Testing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing and adhering to safe electrical isolation procedures for existing live circuits. Installing various low voltage wiring systems and cable containment systems. Issuing installation and condition reports. Testing energizing systems up to 1000V, including newly installed and modified electrical systems. Ensuring that all operational procedures, safe working practices, and H&S procedures are followed. Completing any reasonable tasks assigned in accordance with your position, with the aim of adding value. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and drawings.
