My client is an award-winning building services engineering practice known for sustainable, elegantly integrated design. We're seeking an enthusiastic and capable Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team.
About the Role As an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of building services on a wide variety of innovative and inspiring projects. These include new builds and refurbishments across the residential, commercial, heritage, gallery, and cultural sectors.
You will collaborate closely with architects, clients, and other engineers to develop inventive, robust, and energy-efficient electrical systems from concept to completion.
What You'll Be Doing * Developing electrical building services designs (lighting, power, data, fire alarms, etc.) * Producing calculations, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard tools * Coordinating designs with internal and external teams, including other disciplines * Attending design meetings and site inspections * Taking ownership of your own projects with support from senior engineers * Contributing to the practice's commitment to low-carbon and sustainable design
