Electrical Design Engineer (Draughtsman) Basildon, Essex | Permanent, Full-Time | £40,000 – £45,000 DOE Are you a detail-driven Electrical Design Engineer with a passion for precision and practical application? We’re looking for multiple engineers to join a collaborative design team supporting the development of complex automated systems used globally. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid experience in electrical design who enjoys working alongside panel builders and technicians to bring technical drawings to life. What You’ll Be Doing: Designing detailed 2D and 3D electrical schematics using EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel
Creating wiring diagrams and control panel layouts for automated machinery
Maintaining drawing accuracy and hardware databases throughout the project lifecycle
Generating comprehensive documentation and drawings for the assembly and electrical teams
Collaborating with panel technicians, electricians, and automation engineers to ensure smooth builds
Supporting installation and commissioning when needed
