Electrical Design Engineer (Graduate / Junior)\n\nLocation: Liverpool\nSalary: £28,000 – £35,000\nType: Permanent\n\nAn established and growing building services consultancy in Liverpool is looking to bring in a Graduate / Junior Electrical Design Engineer as part of a planned expansion of its M&E design team.\n\nThe consultancy delivers mechanical, electrical and public health design across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education and industrial projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative design environment, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer to develop within building services design.\n\nThe role\n\nWorking alongside experienced engineers, you will support the design and coordination of electrical building services systems across multiple projects.\n\nTypical responsibilities include:\n\n * \n\n Assisting with electrical building services design including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting and fire alarm systems\n\n * \n\n Supporting project delivery across all RIBA design stages\n\n * \n\n Producing design calculations and technical documentation\n\n * \n\n Working with Revit and AutoCAD to produce coordinated drawings\n\n * \n\n Collaborating with mechanical and public health engineers to deliver coordinated design solutions\n\nWhat they’re looking for\n\n * \n\n Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering\n\n * \n\n Interest in building services consultancy work\n\n * \n\n Exposure to software such as Amtech, Dialux, Revit or AutoCAD is beneficial\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and teamwork skills\n\nWhat’s on offer\n\n * \n\n £28,000 – £35,000 salary\n\n * \n\n Support towards chartership (IEng / CEng)\n\n * \n\n Mentoring from experienced engineers\n\n * \n\n Exposure to a wide range of projects
