Electrical Design Engineer - (Building Services / MEP)
Exeter – Hybrid Working
£45k - £55k Dependent on experience

This electrical design engineer role is to join a specialist building services design team within a large multidisciplinary building consultancy.
It’s to join a down to earth supportive friendly team of design engineers, designing a range of sustainably focused mechanical and electrical works for sectors such as education and local authority. Jobs may include taking the project lead or working as part of a larger design team.

Responsibilities
The preparation of outline design schemes
Visiting site during the construction phase to monitor progress.
Detailed calculations
Promote the use of renewable technologies.
Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for each project.
Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams
Qualifications/Attributes
MEng / BEng / HND /HNC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
A minimum of 3 years electrical design experience in building services.
Experience of Revit would be advantageous but not essential.
High quality oral and written communications (reports, instructions etc)
Driving licence and car
