Electrical Design Engineer (Flexible Level) AXIS MEP, SalfordAXIS is a small but growing MEP consultancy based in Salford. We currently specialise in mechanical design and outsource our electrical work, but increasing demand and our focus on quality and control means were now building our in-house electrical design capability.About the RoleYou will take the lead in developing AXISs electrical design offering. Our workload is primarily contractor Stage 5 detailed design across typical building sectors such as offices, schools, warehouses, and commercial fit-out projects.This role offers:Time to design properly, without the pressure of unrealistic deadlinesRegular site visits for surveys, inspections, and client interactionThe chance to build long-term relationships with our repeat clientsFlexibility to shape the role and choose preferred design tools/softwareA friendly office environment in Salford with free on-site parkingWhat Were Looking ForExperience in electrical building services design (preferably at contractor/detail design level)Good practical understanding of installation methods and constraintsCommercial awareness and confidence working with contractors and clientsAbility to work independently and influence best-practice design standardsFlexibility & Work EnvironmentWe offer flexibility in working pattern and hours.
