Electrical Design Engineer - Remote (Office attendance in Slough on occasions)
£55,000 - £60,000 Per annum

Candidate:

Proficient use of SSEN industry standard electrical design.
Experience in use of CAD software is preferable
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it.
Proven experience in the design DNO energy related electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Having a clear understanding of DNO's HV & LV networks.
Lead the design and engineering projects from feasibility to commissioning phases.
Develop and manage electrical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversee the work of jointing engineers.
Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Ensure quality assurance, risk management, and adherence to safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.Knowledge In:

11kv Design
Excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing at all levels in the organisation
Able to work under pressure and make important decisions
Electrical engineering experience is essentialIn return our client will offer:
