Role- Electrical Design Engineer\nSalary- £38,000 - £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience)\nType- Permanent\nLocation- Near Spalding\nMy client works within the Industrial automation industry, and they are looking to take on a Electrical Design Engineer, on a permanent basis,\nPLC wiring – Design Engineering – AutoCAD – schematics – Amtech – controls – I/O schedules\nThe Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:\n\nHNC, BTEC and/or NVQ3 in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience as an engineer ideally within food and beverage manufacturing\nConfident in fault finding in large control panels and machinery\nHave knowledge of safety circuits and machine safety, it would be an advantage to understand component SIL and machine PL ratings however training can be provided\nKnowledge of PLC control wiring, instrumentation and motor starter control types\nUnderstanding of controls design and industrial automation\nFull UK Driving LicenceThe Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:\n\nGenerating panel layouts\nLV distribution and cable calculations\nAiding in project commissioning & safety validation\nGenerating controls schematic diagrams\nGenerating cable block/ instrument loop diagrams\nPLC wiring diagrams and I/O schedules\nLiaising with site teams to meet deadlines \nIf you are interested in the position please respond with an up to date CV and with your salary expectations
