Excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a global, well-established company where you'll be recognised as the technical expert in your field.

On offer is a key role within the design department where you'll lead electrical design activities, contribute to new product development, and receive ongoing training to broaden your skills.

With over three decades of engineering excellence, this company provides bespoke solutions for blue-chip clients worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join their collaborative and knowledgeable team.

The day-to-day responsibilities include producing and validating innovative electrical system designs, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and driving design improvements. You will play an integral part in delivering high-quality products.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical design experience and a working knowledge of 3D CAD software. A solid understanding of electrical network calculations is essential, and familiarity with IEC 61439 and IEC 62208 standards is advantageous.

The role:

* Electrical Design Engineering using a 3D CAD package

* Product validation processes and electrical network calculations

* Office-based in Telford

* Monday-Friday days (8:30am-5pm, 2pm finish on Friday)

The person:

* Experienced in Electrical Design

* 3D CAD experience (Creo is advantageous but not essential)

* Electrical Engineering degree

* Manufacturing knowledge
