Electrical Engineer - Building Services
North East with Hybrid working - Teesside Base
£35-£40k base salary, plus benefits
Our client, a well established and leading nationally focused engineering building services organisation with a stellar track record is currently looking to appoint an experienced electrical engineer to support the successful delivery of electrical engineering services projects across a wide range of sectors including commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, historic, education, retail and leisure, within both public and private domains and via traditional and design and build routes.
Key Responsibilities:
* The Electrical Engineer's role is key to the structure and performance of the building services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of electrical design solutions, technical innovation, communicating design strategies to the client and wider project team, aiding and assisting graduates/apprentices and increasing the performance of the developing project team.
* Lead and deliver electrical engineering design packages.
* Manage projects from concept to completion.
* Act as main point of contact for clients and design partners.
* Produce high quality reports, calculations, specifications and drawings.
* Coordinate with internal MEP, BIM and sustainability colleagues.
* Mentor junior engineers.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and sustainability requirements.
The Person:
* Degree qualified with 6-8+ years in building services consultancy.
* Strong command of BS standards, CIBSE guidance, Part L, etc.
* Proven ability to manage and deliver multi-sector projects.
* Client-facing experience essential.
* Desirable: chartership (or working towards), experience in low carbon design, performance engineering or BIM.
