Maintenance Engineer x 2 \n\nJenrick are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias 60/40) on a Permanent basis for our client based in Corby. The successful candidate will Provide the on-site engineering maintenance cover required to meet the needs of an expending business. A time-served multi-skilled engineer able to work with electrical control systems to fault finding level, as well as carry out mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic fault finding and repairs to a range of foam conversion equipment.
Strong oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills essential, as well as a broad knowledge of all aspects of engineering and site facilities. Must be self-motivated, have excellent judgment and be able to multitask under pressure.\n\nHours and Salary: \n\n06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 Monday to Friday @ £43,454 P/A\n\n06:00 - 14:00 and 20:00 - 04:00 Monday to Friday @ £45,862 P/A\n\nJob Purpose\n\nTo monitor and inspect the condition of production equipment, the site facilities and carryout maintenance and repairs as necessary, to ensure safety and maximise uptime performance.\nTo devise planned preventative maintenance schedules and update daily maintenance log.\nMonitor line performance for operational efficiency, report to management OEE and devise improvements to existing processes.\nCarryout Root cause analysis when a breakdown occurs and implements solutions to mitigate reoccurrence.\nAssist with safety related issues on site.\nManage small projects when required.\nEnsure statutory records for equipment are maintained on time.\nCreate and keep updated maintenance work lists and proactively report to management. \n\nEssential duties and responsibilities\n\nInclude the following:\n\nStrong fault diagnosis skills on industrial electrical and mechanical systems to rectify breakdowns of production machinery and site facilities.\nAble to read electrical and mechanical drawings.\nCarry out planned preventive maintenance tasks.\nRecord all planned and unplanned work before end of shift.\nEnsure all engineering work carried out on site is completed to the required safety standards.\nHandover shift meeting at end of shiftThe above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required.
Other duties may be assigned.\n\nPerson Specification\n\nEducation and experience - Minimum level of education and experience required\n\nDetail\n\nEssential\n\nDesirable\n\nWorked in a large multinational company\n\nx\n\nONC or HNC time served apprenticed trained technician\n\nx\n\nNVQ Level 3 in electrical maintenance or equivalent\n\nx\n\nAble to interrogate and fault find with PLCs and AC inverter and servo drives\n\nx\n\n3-5 years' experience in a similar role\n\nx\n\n17th or18th Edition Wiring regulations\n\nx\n\nGood aptitude for pneumatics and hydraulics\n\nx\n\nAble to carry out basic welding and machining to facilitate repairs\n\nx\n\nIT literate MS Word, Excel, Email and CMMS system\n\n x\n\nAble to work under pressure and meet deadlines\n\nx\n\nStrong verbal and written English capability\n\nx
