Electrical Engineer - Mobile\n\nContract: Key Account Network\n\nLocation: Birmingham area\n\nHours of work: 40\n\nContract Type: Permanent\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical and building services maintenance across a designated regional portfolio.\n\nThis mobile role focuses on electrical fault finding, repairs, PPM, reactive tasks and installation work across a range of commercial client properties.\n\nJob Description\n\nWe are looking for a professional engineer who can consistently provide excellent customer service and ensure all equipment meets performance and compliance standards.\n\n​The role also includes supporting wider building services activities, including fabric, HVAC, and mechanical tasks.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Deliver electrical PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance within required timeframes.\n\n * Carry out electrical fault finding, repairs and installation work across client properties.\n\n * Complete building services maintenance tasks, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical duties as required.\n\n * Provide callout response in line with the agreed callout rota.\n\n * Undertake contractor control duties, including overseeing workmanship and ensuring standards are met.\n\n * Issue and manage Permits to Work when required.\n\n * Ensure electrical systems and equipment operate to specified performance criteria.\n\n * Maintain equipment and surrounding areas to agreed company standards.\n\n * Represent the company professionally and maintain strong customer satisfaction at all times.\n\nProfessional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications\n\n * Significant experience delivering reactive and PPM maintenance within building services or FM environments.\n\n * Experience working within commercial properties.\n\n * NVQ 2356 / 2357 and NVQ 2356 AM2, OR\n\n * City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR AM1 and AM2, OR\n\n * City & Guilds 236/2360 Electrical Installations Part 1 & 2, AND\n\n * 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations\n\n * Full UK driving licence.\n\n​Even better with:\n\n * Recognised electrical apprenticeship.\n\n * City & Guilds 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing).\n\n * JIB accreditation.\n\n * IPAF / PASMA certifications.\n\nThe Company\n\nISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
