Electrical Engineer – Renewable Installations
We are seeking a qualified Electrician with experience in renewable technologies to join our client’s growing team of installers and service engineers. This role focuses on delivering high-quality domestic heating and hot water solutions, supporting the transition to sustainable energy systems.
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer specialising in renewable installations, you will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and optimising modern energy systems. You will apply your technical expertise to ensure all work meets the highest safety and performance standards while contributing to innovative, low-carbon solutions.
You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out periodic inspection, testing, and certification of electrical systems
* Install renewable technologies in line with design specifications and safety standards
* Ensure all installations comply with operational, regulatory, and health & safety requirements
* Diagnose, investigate, and resolve electrical faults and system malfunctions
* Work closely with internal teams and regulatory bodies to continuously improve safety standards and processes
Key Requirements & Attributes
* Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Proven experience working with renewable technologies (essential)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to produce clear and accurate reports
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Additional professional certifications (desirable but not essential)
* Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks, including criminal and reference checks
