In this role, you will manage design projects from conception through detailed design to manufacturing handover. You will provide design input on projects and offer new ideas for developments and new products. As an Electrical Engineer, you will produce engineering designs, specifications and documentation to ISO 9001 whilst assisting in the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals. You will provide customer support as well as off-site engineering support for new products. You will be flexible, adaptable and professional, with the ability to work just as effectively on your own on projects or as part of a multi-discipline team. Technical requirements: Sound Engineering knowledge Technical drawing competence Design of Electrical power systems Electric motor types, designs and specification. Power distribution and protection equipment. Understanding of communication systems and protocols PCB Design Variable speed drives and soft-starts. Wiring distribution systems . PCB Manufacturing and standards
