Contract Opportunity – Laundry Engineer / Electrical Engineer (3-Month Contract)

Slough, Berkshire, UK

Contract: 3 Months (Potential Extension)

Contract / Temporary Position


We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineer to support a 3-month contract in Slough. This role is ideally suited to a Laundry Engineer, however we are also open to speaking with Electrical Engineers qualified to 18th Edition with strong diagnostics and fault-finding experience.


This is a great opportunity to work on commercial equipment within a fast-paced operational environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on-site equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure operational reliability

• Identify faults and complete repairs efficiently

• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards

• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

• Support site operations by minimising equipment downtime


Preferred Experience

• Experience working as a Laundry Engineer on commercial laundry equipment (highly desirable)

Alternatively Considered

• Electrical Engineer with 18th Edition qualification

• Strong fault finding and diagnostics skills

• Experience with commercial or industrial electrical equipment


Requirements

• Relevant engineering experience

• Electrical qualification (18th Edition preferred for electrical candidates)

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability

• Ability to work independently on site

• Full UK driving licence (preferred)

• Location: Slough

• Contract Length: 3 Months

• Start Date: ASAP

• Rate: £500/d (DOE)
