Job Title - Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location - Leicester Salary - Up to £40,000 Shift - Permanent Early Shift (6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday) Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a modern, high-volume toilet paper manufacturing site . The company has heavily invested in advanced converting lines, automated packing systems, and continuous improvement projects, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and long-term stability. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated tissue production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and production efficiency. You will work on equipment including: Tissue converting lines Winders and rewinders Log saws Wrapping and bagging machines Shrink wrap systems Conveyors and baling equipment Sector - Industrial Manufacturing (Tissue / Hygiene Products) Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory Essential Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience Experience working with three-phase systems, motors, sensors, relays and inverters Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) Experience working within a manufacturing environment Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge Experience within FMCG, tissue, paper, packaging or high-speed production environments Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will benefit from: Working for a stable, growing and market-leading manufacturing business Permanent early shift pattern (excellent work-life balance) Company benefits package including pension and life insurance Overtime opportunities Ongoing training and development opportunities Long-term career progression within engineering If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
