Hill McGlynn are currently working with a respected M&E contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator for a permanent office-based role in Kent, with occasional site surveys across the South East.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially aware professional to join a growing estimating team, working on a diverse range of commercial and residential projects across the region.
Responsibilities

Preparing accurate and competitive electrical estimates and tender submissions.
*
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents to produce detailed take-offs.
*
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
*
Conducting occasional site visits to assess existing installations and survey conditions.
*
Working closely with the pre-construction, design, and project teams to ensure bids are accurate and aligned with delivery strategy.
*
Attending pre- and post-tender meetings as required.
*
Assisting with value engineering and cost planning.
Skills & Experience
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the building services sector.
*
Strong knowledge of electrical systems in commercial and/or residential construction.
*
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel...
