A leading M&E contractor based in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its growing pre-construction team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established and respected business delivering commercial and industrial projects valued up to £5.5 million.

The Role

As Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the tendering process, preparing competitive and accurate cost estimates for a range of commercial and industrial schemes.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing detailed electrical estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Reviewing tender documentation and attending site visits where required.
• Producing accurate take-offs and pricing schedules.
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Identifying value engineering opportunities.
• Supporting bid submissions and attending tender review meetings.
• Working closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams.
