We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join our clients team based in the Manchester area!
Our client is a well established, successful and expanding electrical contracting firm looking to expand their estimations team.
If your looking to grow within a company that's able to offer clear career progression and development then this is the role for you.
We are pleased to be able to offer this role on a permanent basis. If successful, you'll be employed directly by our client on a permanent contract.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be part of our clients estimations team, predominately office based with the occasional visits to customer sites if required .
The role will involve :
Preparing and submitting quotes based on customers electrical installation requirements
Preparing and submitting tenders / bids for works to be completed
Visiting customers sites to gain an understanding of electrical works required to better assist with the creation of a quotation
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
Market research around the best products / systems on offer
Suggesting systems, parts and products that would be best suited to the clients requirements
Assisting projects with the costing elements of contracts / projects undertaken by the company
The ideal candidate will be someone with at least 3-5 years experience as an Electrical Estimator with the commercial electrical installations industry.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM.
1hr lunch break.
No weekend working.
Pay:
£40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
+ Bonus scheme.
