Job Description

Overview\nWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Improver to join our team on a long-term project based in RH10. This role is ideal for an experienced improver with a solid background in commercial or industrial electrical installations and the ability to work to a high standard while supporting qualified electricians on site.\nKey Responsibilities\n * \n Assisting electricians with installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems\n * \n Installing containment, trunking, conduit, and cable trays\n * \n Pulling, terminating, and labelling cables\n * \n Supporting first and second fix electrical works\n * \n Ensuring work is completed in line with health & safety regulations\n * \n Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe\n * \n Working efficiently to meet project deadlines\nRequirements\n * \n Previous experience as an Electrical Improver on commercial or industrial sites, specifically DC or laboratory experience\n * \n ECS or CSCS card (essential)\n * \n Basic hand tools and PPE\n * \n Good understanding of electrical installation practices\n * \n Ability to follow drawings and instructions\n * \n Strong work ethic and reliability\n * \n Good communication and teamwork skills\nWhat’s On Offer\n * \n Competitive hourly rate of £21–£23 per hour (DOE)\n * \n Long-term contract with potential for ongoing work\n * \n Consistent hours (8–12 hours per day)\n * \n Opportunity to gain experience on a large project\n * \n Weekend work may be available
