Electrical Installation Supervisor (Near Reading)

I am looking for experienced Electrical Installation Supervisors to join a high-performing engineering team delivering cutting-edge control systems.

The Role

This is a hands-on, site-based role for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Youll take ownership of projects from survey through to installation, commissioning, and support ensuring everything is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

  • Lead and supervise electrical installations on client sites
  • Survey, install, commission, and support control systems
  • Work predominantly on electrical systems with some exposure to PLCs (training provided)
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and to spec

This role involves UK travel (typically within 3 hours). Some overnight stays are required (~20%), with accommodation provided where needed.

Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week (MondayFriday)

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years electrical supervisory experience
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (C&G, NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC/HND)
  • 18th Edition (BS7671) essential
  • ECS Gold Card (or able to obtain)
  • SSSTS/SMSTS (desirable)
  • Background in installation, maintenance, or service environments
  • Experience with control panels, commissioning, or PLCs (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of EPlan, AutoCAD or similar (beneficial)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
