Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire, South East, UKSenior Electronic Security Systems Installation EngineerLocation: London & South (Field-Based)Salary: £45,000 - £50,000Employment Type: Full-Time, PermanentHours: 40 hours per weekAbout the RoleOur client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Security Systems Installation Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is a field-based role covering London and the South, responsible for delivering high-quality installation and commissioning of electronic security systems across a wide range of commercial sites.The successful candidate will take ownership of full system installation cycles, ensuring all work is completed to industry standards, delivered on time, and represents the exceptional service levels our client is known for.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Installation & CommissioningInstall, configure and commission CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.Carry out first fix, second fix, programming, and commissioning in line with system design documentation.Produce high-quality test and commissioning reports, as well as final completion documentation.Client Engagement & SupportProvide technical advice to clients, addressing queries and offering effective solutions to system-related issues.Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.Compliance & Best PracticeEnsure all work is delivered in accordance with:BS EN 50131PD6662NCP 104NCP 109Relevant health and safety regulationsComplete all documentation accurately and within required timelines.Collaboration & TeamworkWork closely with Project Managers and the wider engineering/administration teams to ensure seamless project delivery.Assist with on-site problem-solving, offering recommendations and corrective actions where required.Skills & CompetenciesStrong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.Ability to plan and prepare installation works prior to commencement.Excellent communication and customer service skills.High attention to detail with the ability to complete accurate work reports.Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a wider team.Positive, professional approach when interacting with clients.Knowledge & Technical RequirementsEssentialProven experience installing and commissioning:CCTV systemsAccess Control systemsIntruder Alarm systemsExperience with modern IP-based security solutions and associated networks.Ability to work with security systems software and applications.DesirableExperience with enterprise-level systems such as LenelS2, Gallagher, C-Cure, etc.Manufacturer training and/or accreditation.Qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or 18th Edition.Role-Specific RequirementsBS7858 security screening (or willingness to undergo).Enhanced DBS check.Full, clean UK driving licence.Eligibility to work in the UK.Willingness to work occasional nights away from home when required.Working ConditionsThe role involves regular site work, including:Working at height using ladders.Lifting and handling tools and equipment.Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.Occasional use of PPE such as hearing protection or respirators.Regular bending, stretching, or kneeling when accessing installation areas.?Why Join Our Client?This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation where your technical skills will have a real impact.
