Our client, a prominent educational group specialising in energy and training, is looking for a Electrical Installation Trainer at their Slough trianing centre on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role will involve managing and mentoring apprentices to excel in their end point assessments, making a substantial difference in their professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality training sessions in electrical installation to apprentices
- Managing and mentoring a dynamic caseload of apprentices
- Preparing apprentices for their end point assessments
- Utilising various teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- Engaging with employers to ensure successful apprentice placements
- Monitoring and assessing apprentice progress regularly
- Providing constructive feedback and support to apprentices
- Keeping accurate records and documentation as required
Job Requirements:
- Experience in teaching in a classroom environment
- A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (City & Guilds 8202, 2365, 2330 or 2360)
- 18th Edition & AM2 / AM2S certification
- A1/CAVA certificate
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Ability to manage and mentor apprentices effectively
- Passion for technical environments and apprentice development
