Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Hayes, West London – Temporary Opportunity, Immediate Start
Invictus are recruiting for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to complete PPM and reactive maintenance on a large static site, in Hayes on the outskirts of Heathrow Airport. The client is looking for IMMEDIATE engineers as this position is a contract vacancy covering annual leave.
You will be expected to have good all round knowledge of other FM disciplines and worked on other FM/Building Services roles.
The client in question is a leading body within the facilities maintenance industry and the site being a large facility that supports aviation, aero space and the ministry of defence. You will be an integral member of the team in maintaining the buildings facilities and day to day running.
Job Role:
The position is a Monday to Friday 8-5 role and it will be paying up to £26 per hour.
Duties:
* Ensure the PPM's and reactive maintenance is completed
* Work on the electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, display lighting, sockets, switchboards, fuses, distribution, basic BMS and controls
* Ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained
* Assisting with general upkeep and fabric maintenance
* This is a temporary position on a leading contract where you will be joining as an integral member of the team in order to ensure the smooth running of a large critical site.
Skills Required:
The successful candidate MUST have:
* Electrically trained with at least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance and services.
* Must have 17th or 18th edition
* Must have Level 3 Electrical installation
Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
